Unfortunately, I rarely play for fitness but I understand this is fun. For example, my good friend and co-author, plays on a volleyball team. It’s fun and healthy. Bottom line physical motion is the goal, regardless of what and why is what you need to do. I don’t dribble a ball or spittle but physical motion is key to staying healthy. Motion is an integral part of human life.
The importance of maintaining a regimen of exercise as a routine can not be stressed enough. This idea goes beyond merely playing sports but it should held as closely as drinking water and eating food. In fact, I will do a workout before I take a meal.
What to do?
Being active is essentially just being active. Just take a walk. Sometime that is all that we do. That is the beginning of the journey to health. Honestly, I have been sidelined on many occasions, with injuries and lifestyles; fatherhood.
